Workshops

The OFE runs a broad range of workshops to support faculty across ranks throughout the most important stages and aspects of the faculty lifecycle: onboarding, reappointment, promotion, tenure, and institutional leadership. Our workshops cover the three areas of faculty endeavor––research, teaching, and service, as related to professional development.

OFE Faculty Developers, technology trainers, and course designers are available for 1:1 appointments to answer individual questions, provide systems navigation support, review reappointment and promotion narratives, and provide suggestions on supplementary materials. These sessions are typically available on Zoom, but in-person options are available as well.

OFE Faculty Developers are available by appointment to review reappointment, promotion, and tenure narratives and provide suggestions on supplementary materials in an advisory capacity. Tenure-track and Teaching Faculty are solely responsible for the materials they submit. We suggest you send drafts to your faculty developer in advance.
