The College for Education and Engaged Learning (CEEL) at Montclair State University is dedicated to preparing aspiring teachers, administrators, and other education professionals for success. The Department of Educational Foundations offers courses that examine the role and influence of education across social, political, linguistic, and cultural contexts.

CEEL Center Consortium

The CEEL Center Consortium, launched in 2025 within Montclair State University’s College for Education and Engaged Learning, serves as a single access point to a full spectrum of educational services and expertise.

As New Jersey’s one-stop educational partner, the Consortium supports learning across the lifespan, from early childhood through K–12, educator preparation, professional development, research, program evaluation, technology integration, family support, and community partnerships.

ADP Center for Learning Technologies

We are a model hub for educational technology, serving faculty, staff, community educators, and students. Our space includes classrooms, labs, studios, and collaborative areas. We also offer professional development through workshops, seminars, and conferences.

We provide a model of excellence in inclusive early care and education. Our staff implements best practices in teaching and learning to serve children aged 12 weeks to 5 years old. We uphold a standard of excellence in inclusive early care and education.

Center for Autism and Early Childhood Mental Health (CAECMH)

We are dedicated to the well-being of children and families by providing therapy, support, and services. We provide professional development for professionals and coursework for students pursuing careers in early relational health and maternal-infant health. Our staff conducts research and offers systems-level consultation throughout New Jersey to help children thrive.

We are a comprehensive resource for students at every stage of their academic career. Our staff offers advising and guidance to support academic and career development opportunities. We also provide dedicated support for first-year teachers.
