Make an Appointment
Call 973-655-3459 (Montclair campus) or 973-655-2800 (Bloomfield campus) before visiting. You will be asked a few quick questions to match you with the right care. Drop-in services are not guaranteed.
Most students are seen within 24 hours for acute illness or injury.
- Appointments are typically 30 minutes
- Arrive 15 minutes early
- Bring your University ID and insurance card
Your Health, Your Access
All Montclair State University students can receive care at the Student Health Center, regardless of insurance coverage.
- Available on both Montclair and Bloomfield campuses.
- In-person and Telehealth appointments offered.
- No co-pay required for visits. Services are free or low cost.
Privacy & Confidentiality
Your care is completely confidential.
- Medical records are not part of your academic record.
- Information is protected under HIPAA.
- Nothing is shared without your written consent.
The only exceptions are situations involving safety risks or legal reporting requirements.
Quick Care Options
The Student Health Center is a comprehensive outpatient facility that functions like a primary care office. Care is provided by advanced practice nurses, registered nurses and collaborating physicians.

Fast, no-provider-visit testing for students without symptoms.
