Health Promotion

Health Promotion provides education, outreach and resources to support student well-being and help you make informed decisions. Through programs, peer education and prevention initiatives, the office promotes a healthy campus community for students. Focus areas include: safer sex and sexuality, alcohol, cannabis and other drugs, tobacco, body image, mental health, stress and sleep.

Alcohol and Other Drug Program

The Alcohol and Other Drug Program is a comprehensive, evidence-informed initiative focused on preventing high-risk drinking and substance use. The program uses campus and community-based strategies to support education, awareness and healthier decision-making.

Weekly Workshops

Mindfulness Meditation

Mondays, 12-12:30 p.m., Online.

Mindfulness Meditation is the practice of being self-aware with an extra focus on your breath. Open to all who are interested in learning about meditation and developing mindfulness in daily life. Participate with video or audio only.

Fireside Chats

Thursday, 3-4 p.m., Drop-In Center.

A space for you to meet, connect, and have a casual conversation about a given topic, or anything else that feels comfortable for everyone else. It can be about the school climate, student life in general or your favorite show.

Take-and-Make Craft Kits

Pick up at the Drop-In Center.

Take-and-Make craft kits are available for pick up at the Drop-In Center during business hours. While supplies last! FREE for students with a valid Montclair or Bloomfield campus ID.
