Important Deadlines
All students must submit proof of immunization before their first semester.

Your immunization records may be obtained from:
- Your personal immunization record
- Your healthcare provider
- Your high school
- Any previous college or university
How to Submit
Submit your immunization records through the MyHealth Portal.
You can:
- Upload immunization records
- Complete required medical forms
- Check your submission status
- Send secure messages to the Student Health Center
Important Notice: Non-Compliance
All new and transfer students must meet immunization requirements to attend Montclair State University and, if applicable, live in University housing.
These requirements are mandated by New Jersey law and the University.
If You Miss the Deadline
- You will not be permitted to move into your residence hall (if applicable)
- You may be de-registered from your courses
Immunization Requirements
Newly Admitted Students Under Age 19
Full-Time Students
- MMR: 2-dose series (first dose after first birthday)
- Hepatitis B: 3-dose series
- Meningitis: 2 doses, one must be after age 16
Part-Time Students
- MMR: 2-dose series
- Meningitis: 2 doses, one must be after age 16
Newly Admitted Students Age 19 and Older
Full-Time Students
- MMR: 2-dose series
- Hepatitis B: 3-dose series
- If living on campus: 1 meningitis dose (within last 5 years and after age 16)
Part-Time Students
- MMR: 2-dose series
- If living on campus: 1 meningitis dose (within last 5 years and after age 16)
Immunization Exemptions
Students Exempt from Requirements
- Enrolled only in a certificate program
- Enrolled only in a fully online program
- Age 31 or older at time of matriculation

All exemption forms should be uploaded to MyHealth Portal.

- Meningococcal B
