Membership Information
Whether you’re stopping by for a workout, joining a program or bringing a guest, Campus Recreation offers access options for the Montclair State University community and beyond.
All current undergraduate and graduate students receive free membership to the Student Recreation Center. Just bring your Montclair State University ID!
Faculty, Staff and Alumni Membership Pricing
- Faculty and staff can purchase memberships in person at the Student Recreation Center Main Office or online.
- Alumni must first register with the Office of Alumni Engagement and obtain an Alumni ID card before purchasing a membership.

Payroll Deduction Options for Faculty/Staff
- 6 months (13 deductions): $19.62 each
- 12 months (10 month employee, 20 deductions*): $20.10 each
- 12 months (26 deductions): $18.27 each
*Additional $73.00 due at time of registration for 10-month payroll deduction.
Be Our Guest
Guests are welcome in our facility with a valid sponsor (current Montclair student or active member) and must adhere to all Student Recreation Center Rules.
- Guest Pass Prices: $10.00 per guest for entire facility, $5.00 per guest for a pool pass
- Student guest passes sold Monday–Friday, 6 a.m.–6 p.m.
- Valid for one-time use only
- Must be used immediately upon purchase
Please Note: Sponsors are only eligible to have two (2) guests at a time and must remain with their guests at all times.
Pool Access
Just want to use our pool? We have Pool Packages available for faculty, staff and alumni.
- 5 Passes: $20.00
- 10 Passes: $30.00
- 20 Passes: $40.00
Please Note: Locker rentals are not included with pool packages and children under five (5) are not permitted in the pool.
Locker Rentals
We have beautiful locker rooms available for all of our students and members.
