Special Rec Events & Programs
More than just a gym, Campus Recreation is where you come to relax, connect and have fun.
From weekly Rec Nights to larger events and campus-wide experiences, there’s always something happening.
Events are designed to be low-pressure, fun and easy to join, whether you come with friends or on your own.
Examples of Events
- DIY and craft nights: Canvas painting, bracelet making or decorating
- Food events: Waffle nights, snack bars and themed treats
- Interactive games and competitions: Mini golf or trivia
- Seasonal and themed events tied to holidays and campus moments
- Watch parties and social gatherings
Off Campus & Signature Events
We also provide a number of exciting trips for you to sign up for that take you away from campus for a few hours! These events are usually at a small fee, but here are a few examples of where we have been in the past:
- Professional sports games: Knicks, Yankees, Mets and Devils
- Broadway shows: MJ the Musical and Hamilton
Highlighted Event
Campus Rec is showing love to our commuters with free light breakfast & coffee during Commuter Life Appreciation Week!
- Stop by Monday, September 14-Friday, September 18, 9-11 a.m. to grab some morning fuel. Come early to beat the parking rush, maybe squeeze in a quick workout and shower (clean towels provided). Then enjoy breakfast & coffee before heading to class. All students are welcome!
Weekly Events at the Rec
Rec Nights are weekly events held at the Student Recreation Center during the fall and spring semesters, offering a consistent way to get involved and unwind.
- Student Recreation Center
- Tuesdays, 7-9 p.m.
Each week features a different activity, ranging from crafts and food to games and themed experiences. We hope to see you there!
