The University Collaborative for Inclusive Excellence brings together students, faculty, staff, and alumni to review University-wide practices and processes and recommend opportunities to strengthen inclusion across Montclair.

Recognizing that one of Montclair’s greatest strengths is the rich diversity of our community, the Collaborative developed a best-practices checklist to support those responsible for drafting or revising University policies. This practical resource is designed to help policy drafters identify potential biases and ensure that policy language, requirements, and procedures are inclusive, accessible, and responsive to the diverse lived experiences of our students, faculty, and staff.
