Employee Resource Networks and Caucus Groups
Employee Resource Networks and Caucus Groups provide structured spaces for employees to build community, strengthen belonging, elevate shared experiences, and offer insight that supports an inclusive, engaged, and responsive workplace culture.
Employee Resource Networks include the Early Career and Emerging Professionals (ECEP) Network, Parent and Caregivers Network, Queer Employee Network, and ACE Women’s Network. These networks provide employees with opportunities to connect across shared interests and experiences, support professional and personal growth, and contribute to a welcoming and inclusive campus culture. Employee Resource Networks align with the University’s mission and actively promote spaces for inclusion, connection, community, and belonging.
Montclair is also home to four longstanding independent Caucus Groups that have been grandfathered into the University’s employee engagement structure: the African American Caucus, Asian Pacific Islander Caucus, Disability Caucus, and Latin/x/o Caucus. These caucuses continue to serve as important spaces for community-building, cultural awareness, and advocacy, among employees.
Learn More About Employee Resource Networks!
We encourage employees to contact the Office of Inclusive Excellence if they do not see an Employee Resource Group that reflects their interests, experiences, or community-building goals. Our office is available to consult, offer guidance, and explore the possibility of developing a new network that advances a campus culture where community members feel seen, valued, respected, and empowered while aligning with Montclair State University’s mission, vision, and values.
