Meet the PSEG ISS Team
The PSEG Institute for Sustainability Studies is managed by a team of professionals and academics with diverse experiences in sustainability. There is a core staff that supports the development and implementation of all PSEG ISS activities and initiatives, including the Director, Associate Director, Assistant Director, and Program Administrator.
The Director, Dr. Alex Moore (they/them), is an ecosystem ecologist and environmental scientist with extensive experience in research, community engagement, environmental and social justice advocacy, and program administration. As Director of the PSEG Institute for Sustainability Studies, Dr. Moore provides critical leadership in research and practice to help individuals, communities, and businesses meet today’s sustainability challenges and build a greener, more resilient future.
The work of the Institute is further supported by the Associate Director, Dr. Nina M. Goodey (she/her). Dr. Goodey (she/her) is a biochemist and soil scientist whose research focuses on brownfield restoration and neglected tropical pathogens. She leads NSF funded research, mentors student scientists, directs the OPEN.NJ.R Scholarship Program, and coordinates an NSF HSI funded project that integrates psychoeducational support into research and internship experiences.
