Montclair State University offers a variety of residential options, including traditional residence halls, suite-style communities and apartments across both the Montclair and Bloomfield campuses.

The following rates are approved for the 2025–2026 academic year and vary by building, room type and eligibility requirements.

Summer Housing Rates

Summer housing is billed on a nightly basis and varies by campus and room type.

Summer nightly rates begin after the conclusion of the spring semester. Students remaining on campus will be billed based on their length of stay.

Meal Plan Requirement: All residents are required to maintain a meal plan. Specific meal plan requirements may vary based on credit hours earned and building assignment.

Eligibility Requirement: Some housing options require a minimum number of earned credits.
