Curriculum, Assessment, and Accreditation
Our Team Mission
The Curriculum, Assessment, and Accreditation Team is an administrative unit committed to the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of academic programs and courses through ongoing faculty engagement and support.
We empower faculty to make informed curricular and assessment choices that result in high-quality, functional learning experiences with measurable student outcomes, while ensuring alignment with accreditation requirements.
We are a dedicated team of experts who approach our collaborations with genuine care and excitement.

Connection to Montclair’s Priorities
Optimizing Student Success - Ensure clear learning goals and meaningful assessments; implement sound curriculum in a timely manner; use available technologies to facilitate accurate Catalog and degree audits.
Driving Academic Excellence and Innovation - Set high standards for curricula and prioritize immediate and long-term impact on students.
Fortifying Institutional Vitality - Work with faculty to offer innovative curricula; provide regular assessment of long-standing programs and courses, ensuring the most up-to-date offerings.
Scale Up Impact and Research - Help faculty develop new programs to increase the breadth of our curricula and ensure MSU is continuously reaching new student populations; ensure that current program offerings meet the needs of ever-changing student cohorts; create and support policies that map programs and courses back into policies in other areas that impact financial aid, time to graduation, and overall student success.
Workday Student
Montclair is undertaking a campus-wide transition to Workday Student. This initiative unites partners across the University, including Curriculum and Enrollment Management, to modernize and streamline academic and administrative processes. This collaborative effort is designed to support clarity, consistency, and an improved experience for students, faculty, and staff.
