Montclair State University’s student-run digital production club produces digital productions, specializing in Animation/VFX. The studio is student-run with members with skill from all fields of media, such as writing, illustration, acting, animation, film, VFX, etc.

You'll experience a professional production environment similar to those found in the animation, visual effects, and game industries. You can take on specialized production roles, including producer, artist, animator, technical artist, programmer, designer, or developer, while collaborating through an organized production pipeline with milestones, deadlines, and regular team meetings.

Projects are developed using industry-standard software and workflows, so you'll gain practical experience in collaborative production, project management, communication, version control, and iterative development. You'll contribute to original productions while building a professional portfolio and preparing for a career in animation, visual effects, immersive media, game development, or interactive storytelling.

Red Hawk Studio regularly collaborates with faculty, academic departments, University initiatives, and external industry partners to develop interactive experiences, animations, and other digital media projects that address real-world needs.
