Montclair Ad Club
A student-run advertising organization at Montclair State University's College of Communication and Media. MAC prepares the next generation of advertising and media professionals through real-world campaigns, industry networking, and hands-on creative work. All majors and experience levels welcome.
Where Creativity Meets Career Strategy
Montclair Ad Club (MAC) was founded in Spring 2025 by a group of graduating advertising students who wanted to broaden Montclair's advertising program and give current students a clear path toward professional careers. In just its first year, MAC has grown into a recognized student organization supported by an advisory board of advertising faculty and local industry professionals.
The club is rooted in a strong creative community and focuses on collaboration and innovation, empowering members to produce bold work while building the skills employers actually want to see.
Agency-Style Work
MAC partners with Montclair's organizations and local businesses to produce innovative campaigns that deliver branding, research, strategy, and content creation services. These aren't classroom exercises. Members take on real agency roles, working on behalf of actual clients with deliverables that build the kind of portfolio that opens doors after graduation.
Whether you're drawn to the creative side, the strategic side, or the business side of advertising, MAC has a role for you.
