What is D2R?

Diagnosis 2 Recovery (D2R) is a SAMHSA-funded initiative at Montclair State University's School of Nursing dedicated to advancing education and recovery through mental health first aid training, continuing education, podcasts, and other professional resources focused on substance use disorders.

What We Offer

Mental Health First Aid Training

Youth and Adult certification courses that teach participants how to recognize and respond to mental health and substance use challenges.

Continuing Education Units

Complete eight free continuing education modules covering identification, treatment, recovery, and emerging best practices.

Free Resources and Updates

Stay informed through our quarterly newsletter and the Recovery Room Podcast, featuring conversations on substance use disorder research, emerging topics, upcoming events, and D2R news.
