Brass
Brass students at the Cali School of Music develop their artistry, technique, and confidence through close study with dedicated faculty and a wide range of performance opportunities. Students grow as expressive, versatile musicians through solo recitals, chamber music, and ensembles including orchestra, wind bands, jazz groups, and Broadway repertory.
World-Class Brass Training, Rooted in Student Success
Faculty includes members of the Metropolitan Opera, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, the American Brass Quintet, the Atlantic Brass Quintet, and the West Point Band, as well as performers from Broadway and Radio City. Masterclasses with renowned guest artists offer additional growth opportunities, with recent brass residencies featuring Wynton Marsalis, Arturo Sandoval, and folk-jazz group The Westerlies. The result is a rigorous, supportive environment centered on student joy and success.
