Herstory in Action: Honoring Women as Changemakers

Exhibit case with books about and written by historical women

In honor of Women's History Month and Social Work Month, the University Libraries present Herstory in Action: Honoring Women as Changemakers. This exhibit highlights women whose ideas, activism, and leadership have shaped communities and scholarship, with special attention to Jane Addams, the 1931 Nobel Peace Prize recipient often called the "mother of social work", whose pioneering efforts created modern social services.
