Bloomfield Campus Student Government
Bloomfield's Student Government Association (Bloomfield SGA) is the official student governing body for the Bloomfield campus. Through advocacy, leadership and collaboration, Bloomfield SGA works to enhance the student experience and foster a connected campus community.
- Represents the interests and voices of Bloomfield campus students.
- Serves as a liaison between students and University leadership.
- Oversees recognized student clubs and organizations on the Bloomfield campus.
- Supports student leaders through funding, resources and organizational guidance.
- Creates opportunities for students to get involved, build leadership skills and make an impact on campus.
- Promotes a vibrant campus experience through student-led events, programs and traditions.
Student organizations on the Bloomfield campus host a wide variety of programs throughout the year, including movie nights, cultural celebrations, educational workshops, performances, social events, trips and more.
Meetings: Every other Monday, 2-3 p.m., Talbott Hall Student Center, Room of Excellence
Starting a New Club or Organization
Students interested in creating a new club or organization must complete the registration process through Engage. To be considered, organizations must have:
- At least seven undergraduate student members
- A full-time faculty or staff Bloomfield Campus advisor
- An executive board (including a president and treasurer)
- A constitution and roster
Once submitted, applications are reviewed by the Bloomfield Campus Activities team. Approved organizations gain access to resources, funding and campus opportunities.
Club/Organization Benefits and Resources
Registered Student Clubs/Organizations receive access to:
- Funding through the Student Government Association.
- Space reservations for meetings and events.
- An official Engage page.

Our Constitution & Procedures
The Bloomfield Campus Student Government Association Constitution and Policies & Procedures serve as the foundation for student governance on the Bloomfield campus. These documents outline the mission and structure of SGA, establish expectations for student organizations, and provide the policies and procedures that guide leadership, funding, meetings and campus involvement.
