Queer Community Program
Find your community, explore your identity and connect with others in a space that is welcoming, inclusive and supportive.
The Queer Community within Advocacy and Outreach offers programs, discussion spaces and resources that support LGBTQ+ students and allies while creating opportunities for connection, learning and growth across campus.
Get Involved
Whether you’re looking to meet new people, find support or explore your identity, there are many ways to get involved.
Discussion Groups
These peer-led groups create space for meaningful dialogue, mutual support and personal growth. If you are interested in learning more, connect with a professional staff member in Student Center Annex, 113.
Housing and Living Communities
Looking for a supportive living environment? Our partners in Residence Life have Inclusive and Affirming Living-Learning Communities available as well as Open Housing Options.

All-Gender Restroom Locations
Montclair is committed to creating an inclusive and respectful environment for all students.
Students may use restrooms and locker rooms that align with their gender identity. Individuals who prefer additional privacy may use single-stall, all-gender restrooms, when available. No one is required to use these spaces, and alternative arrangements will always be handled with respect and confidentiality.
