AI Policy Update

A University AI Policy, drafted by the AI Policies Committee, is expected to be distributed for open comment in Fall 2026. The policy will cover how AI is acquired, used, and retired, with an emphasis on meeting ethical and legal data protection requirements, and differentiating between high-risk arenas (like admissions and grading) and low-risk arenas (like productivity and public data analysis).
