Biography
Kim Blatt (formerly Bazylewicz) is the Director of Research Compliance at Montclair State University, and oversees the activities of the institutional research regulatory committees (IRB, IACUC, FCOI, IBC), and policies (including research misconduct and export control) to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and institutional policies. The Director interacts with Principal Investigators and other researchers and staff regarding implementation of their research to ensure policies and regulations are followed. She advocates for the development and implementation of new processes in the research compliance area that creates and supports responsible conduct and integrity in scientific research, including the development and implementation of educational programs. She also oversees research misconduct inquiries and investigations as the designated Research Integrity Officer (RIO).
