Bloomfield Boost

Bloomfield Boost is a program designed to provide Bloomfield College students with an alternative pathway to achieving their degrees through a structured first-year curriculum.

Bloomfield Boost offers a 29-credit core curriculum that fulfills foundational requirements while equipping students for continued academic success at Bloomfield College of Montclair State University. The program leverages the college’s proven ability to support the transformation of students in need of additional support (ex. students that have been conditionally admitted to the institution).

Conditionally admitted students who have not declared an intended major but have maintained both a cumulative GPA and an intended major GPA will work with their faculty and academic advisors to apply to their major of interest at Bloomfield College of Montclair State University. Students are responsible for adhering to the policies set forth by their instructors, as well as managing absences through effective communication with instructors, following the course syllabus and completing assignments.

Upon successful completion of the program, students will continue their education at Bloomfield and pursue their chosen degree.
