St. John Roman Catholic Church is seeking professional and advanced collegiate singers in all voice parts (SATB) for a special celebratory Mass with Cardinal Tobin.
Singers should have strong sight-reading skills and experience with straight-tone singing and ensemble blending.
Repertoire will include traditional Roman Catholic liturgical music, hymns and choral motets.

Baritone/Bass Staff Singer Opening at St. James Episcopal Church
St. James Episcopal Church in Upper Montclair has a last-minute vacancy for a baritone/bass staff singer for the semi-professional choir, which sings at least two anthems each Sunday. The choir sings at the 10:15am service from September - June, with a rehearsal prior at 8:30am. In addition the choir sings for two services on Christmas Eve (counts as two appearances), an Evensong on November 1st, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and two services Easter Day (counts as two appearances). There are no weeknight rehearsals.
Interested candidates are expected to sight-read at an advanced level due to the nature of the music programming.
Pay is $120 per appearance.

The Plainfield Symphony Orchestra is seeking experienced professional musicians to join its roster and support its mission of bringing live orchestral music, music education, and community engagement to audiences of all ages.
Opportunities are available for instrumentalists and vocalists interested in ensemble and orchestral performance, professional artistry, and helping connect music students with live performances and educational experiences. Musicians may also have the opportunity to engage with Maestro Charles Prince through performances, historical lectures, and special audience programs.

Keyboardist Wanted for New Children’s Musical Recording Tracks
Looking for creative and talented keyboardist to add piano/keyboard tracks on several songs for new children’s musical. The songs are written and produced, just looking for keys to add color and flair to the backing tracks. Prefer someone who has a love of theater and would enjoy working on a project that results in a professional recording. Tracks can be recorded at our small studio in nearby West Orange. If you’re a piano player/keyboardist looking for a creative project, this could be for you.
