About the Team
Established in 2024, the Content Creator Program brings together student creators to showcase Montclair State University’s unique charm, campus culture, and vibrant community. Through photo and video storytelling, students capture what it truly means to be a Red Hawk across a variety of official Montclair social media platforms. This program highlights authentic student perspectives while amplifying the voices that shape life on campus. #MontclairCreator

How it Operates
While collaborating together, the group is broken down into three distinct groups with specific objectives:
Social Media Ambassadors
Established in 2021, the Social Media Ambassador Team is a paid internship within the Content Creator Program focused on producing short-form, vertical video content.
Student Influencers
Established in 2024, the Student Influencer program is a 3-credit internship opportunity in collaboration with the College of Communication and Media for students in the Social Media and Public Relations major. Three students manage and create for their unique official University ambassador Instagram account, offering a glimpse into student life at Montclair.
Student Vloggers
Established in 2024, the Student Vlogger program is a 3-credit internship opportunity that empowers students working towards a similar career path in social media while giving them and sharing their authentic experiences in college.
