Laptop Loans

Laptops are available to current Montclair State University students only, on a first-come, first-serve basis with a valid Montclair State ID card.

Loan period is 4 hours
Laptops may be borrowed from the Sprague Library Laptop Lending Desk, Room 132, or Bloomfield College Library, main floor
Upon entering the lab, complete the online request — you'll receive an email when your loan starts and ends.
All laptops must be returned to an IT Lab Assistant at the same desk from which they were borrowed. Failure to return the laptop on time or to the correct location may result in the suspension of laptop lending privileges.

Submissions must be completed a minimum of 2 business days before the requested loan period — the system strictly enforces the standard 24-hour loan period.
Recurring Loans (e.g. a loan for every Wednesday for the semester) can be accommodated by clicking the recurring loan button and defining the time period.
Use the comments section to describe special setup needs or to designate a student to pick up equipment on your behalf.
Asset loan availability is for 1 business day / 24-hour period and is based on asset availability.
Each request must be approved — a limited number of laptops are available.
Laptops have a video camera and Zoom functionality.
