Graduate school moves fast, make sure youโ€™re on track! Key dates coming up include:

  • Friday, April 17: Final day for doctoral students to defend for the semester.
  • Friday, April 17: Deadline for graduate and doctoral assistants to submit a Summer Tuition Request Form.
  • Wednesday, April 22: Final deadline for doctoral students who received a โ€œpassโ€ outcome on their defense to submit dissertation materials.
  • Wednesday, April 24: Final deadline for doctoral students who received a โ€œpass with conditionsโ€ outcome on their defense to submit dissertation materials.
  • Tuesday, April 28: Last day for doctoral students to submit to ProQuest and complete their Survey of Earned Doctorates.
  • Sunday, May 3: Last day for masterโ€™s students to submit their final thesis.
  • Monday, May 4: Last day of classes โ€“ meet on a Friday schedule.
  • Monday, May 4: Last day of work for graduating International graduate and doctoral assistants.

IRS trained and certified SBUS students are offering FREE tax preparation and filing. This service is available to Montclair students, faculty, staff and members of the University community earning less than $73,000. To participate, please bring your social security card, drivers license or photo I.D., 2025 tax documents and copy of last yearโ€™s tax return to one of their upcoming sessions:

  • Campus Recreation: Take a study break, move your body and reset your mind with fitness classes, gym access or a quick workout.
  • Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS): Feeling overwhelmed? Talk it out. CAPS offers support to help you manage stress, anxiety and burnout.
  • Disability Resource Center: Access personalized accommodations and support to remove barriers and create an environment where you can thrive.
  • Exercise is Medicine: A wellness program that helps students incorporate physical activity into their routines through guidance from trained fitness professionals.
  • Health Promotion Office: Stress management, nutrition tips and wellness support to help you stay balanced during long study days. They also host weekly workshops like Mindfulness Meditation on Mondays at 12 p.m. and Paws with Pebbles on Wednesdays at 2 p.m.
