Human Flourishing Faculty and Staff Learning Workshop 2: Awareness, Focus, and Emotions
Beginning Spring 2027, Montclair will offer a new undergraduate course on Human Flourishing, “Foundations of Human Flourishing,” aligned with the SEEDS Self-Discovery and Self-Care value. Faculty and staff assigned to teach the course will participate in a five-part learning series led by Dr. Elenice DeSouza Oliveira that will prepare the cohort to teach the course, with opportunities for instructor development.
While aimed at those teaching the course next semester, the Human Flourishing Faculty and Staff Learning Workshop Series is open to all faculty and staff who are interested in learning more about Human Flourishing and potentially teaching the course in the future. The workshop series will include experiential learning, guest speakers, activities, and curated opportunities.
Please join us for the series, which meets on five Tuesdays from 3 - 4:30 p.m.
Dates: October 27, November 10, December 1, December 15, 2026; and January 12, 2027
