The Volunteer Center, part of the Office of Community Engagement and Partnerships, connects Montclair State students, faculty, staff, and community members with meaningful service opportunities that strengthen relationships and create positive change. Through volunteer experiences, campus-wide service initiatives, and community partnerships, students develop a deeper understanding of community needs while building skills, connections, and a lifelong commitment to service.

FAQs
How do I log my hours?
Volunteer hours can be submitted through the Volunteer Center Engage page, the appropriate service hour submission form, or a Volunteer Center Service Hour Log.
After submitting your hours, please allow approximately one week for processing. Major service events, such as MLK Day of Service and 9/11 Day of Service, may require additional processing time.
How can my organization request volunteers?
Organizations seeking volunteers should email volunteer@montclair.edu with event details, including the date, time, number of volunteers needed, and any available event materials. The Volunteer Center will follow up to discuss next steps.
How can I meet with the Volunteer Coordinator?
Appointments are available in Cole Hall Suite 348 or via Zoom, Tuesday through Friday. Email volunteer@montclair.edu to schedule a meeting.
