Flames and Facts 2026
More than 150 students, faculty, staff, and community partners gathered for Montclair State University's "Flames and Facts" fire safety event, featuring live mock dorm fire demonstrations from the National Fire Sprinkler Association, a guest speaker reflecting on the 2000 Seton Hall fire, and hands on learning with the Little Falls, Montclair, and Clifton Fire Departments. The evening combined fire prevention education with community building, wrapping up with a DJ, food, and s'mores around fire pits.
