One Login. Any Device. Meet Your New Virtual Desktop.
Montclair State University has introduced a new Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) powered by Omnissa Horizon (formerly known as VMware Horizon). This platform allows students, faculty, and staff to securely access a full campus computer environment, complete with university software, systems, and tools, from any location with an internet connection. This eliminates the need to visit physical computer labs or offices.

Update: AV Special Event Staffing and Usage Expectations
Montclair State University’s Division of Information Technology issued an update regarding guidelines for requesting AV support at campus events. While AV staffing for university-sponsored events remains centrally funded (meaning departments are not billed for basic support), strict utilization rules are being reinforced to ensure the limited technical staff are used efficiently and equitably.
