Open Position: Assistant Professor of Engineering
The Department invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Engineering position to begin August 2027.
This position will contribute to the launch of a new Engineering concentration and support the development of the corresponding curriculum.
The ideal applicant will have strong familiarity and experience with the standard curricula for physics and at least one core engineering discipline (especially Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Optical, or Nuclear Engineering). Other engineering or physics disciplines may also be considered. The applicant’s research area should likewise connect with an engineering discipline or a related area of physics or applied physics.
