College of the Arts Faculty Honored with 2026 Presidential Excellence Awards
College of the Arts faculty were recognized for their outstanding contributions to Montclair State University through the 2026 Presidential Excellence Awards.
The Presidential Excellence Awards celebrate individuals and teams who demonstrate an outstanding commitment to the University's mission through excellence in teaching, service, advocacy and other contributions to the Red Hawk community. The awards honor faculty and staff across the University at all career stages.
Among this year's recipients, marcus d. harvey, assistant professor in the Department of Theatre and Dance, received the Teaching, Early Career, Full-Time Faculty Award in recognition of his excellence in teaching and commitment to student success. Harvey also received an Honorable Mention in the Advocacy and Allyship category.
Nicole Archer, chairperson of the Department of Art and Design, received the Service Award for her exceptional dedication and contributions to the University community.
Christina Rodriguez-Unalt, assistant professor in the Department of Art and Design, received an Honorable Mention in the Service, Early Career category, recognizing her commitment to service early in her career.
The College of the Arts congratulates all of this year's Presidential Excellence Award recipients and honorees on their well-deserved recognition.
