Classics Day 2026
The Institute for the Humanities and the Department of Classics, Humanities, and Philosophy will offer its thirty-seventh annual Classics Day this year on campus on Friday, November 13, 2026. Its mission is, as always, to introduce high school students studying Latin to the wide range of subject areas, fields of inquiry, and disciplinary methodologies encompassed by “Classics” as explored at the college level -- applied this year to Christopher Nolan’s recently released movie The Odyssey -- as well as to provide a fun opportunity for students to test their knowledge with a contest in Latin grammar, classical mythology, and Roman civilization! Please complete the registration form and return with payment no later than Monday, November 9.
