Arts, Youth and International Collaboration

Building on last semester's Rise Up event, CLaSE is collaborating with the John J. Cali School of Music, Drew University, and Montclair Fund for Educational Excellence on an international youth arts initiative. At the Cali School's Otto Lab, young participants will develop their talents in songwriting, music, and poetry under the guidance of Dr. Michael Viega, with support from Tim Anagnostis, preparing for a mid-December performance. A second phase in Seville, Spain, will connect young artists across cultures through music and a collaborative album celebrating their voices, languages, and stories.
