Sabbatical leaves reflect the University’s commitment to supporting faculty and librarian research, scholarship, and creative work by providing dedicated time to advance work that supports both the discipline and the University’s mission. The terms, conditions, and procedures governing sabbatical leaves are defined in agreements between the Council of NJ State College Locals and the State of New Jersey, as well as the University’s Local Selected Procedures Agreement and the 2008 Agreement on Sabbatical Procedures.
