Join CLaSE for two days of international scholarly exchange dedicated to the power of oral history in preserving Latino memories, identities, and cultural heritage.
The inaugural HOLA Symposium will bring together scholars, researchers, students, and community voices to explore oral history as a means of resistance, representation, and cultural preservation. Through interdisciplinary presentations and conversations, participants will examine how personal narratives challenge dominant histories, strengthen communities, and connect generations. The symposium reflects CLaSE's commitment to fostering academic dialogue while creating space for stories and perspectives that have too often been overlooked.
