Clinician with two children playing

CAECMH provides caring family support and clinical services for children and their families. Our goal is to help promote positive family relationships through supporting caregivers to support their children.

OUTPATIENT CLINICAL SERVICES

Our outpatient clinical services provide accessible, affordable, and quality therapeutic support for children and families. We specialize in play therapy, family therapy, trauma-informed care and services for autistic individuals and neurodivergent children. We use expressive therapy approaches like music, movement, art and play to help kids and families express themselves and support connecting and healing. We are a self-pay clinic where fees are set on a sliding scale schedule. We support out-of-network reimbursement efforts.

Autism represents a difference in the structure, function and processing of the human brain that often leads to distinct behavioral patterns. Autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) are a group of developmental disorders that are characterized by significant social, communication and behavioral challenges. People with ASDs handle information in their brain differently than other people. The range of individual differences, and the likely “causes” are varied, leading the field to use the phrase, “spectrum disorders.” ASDs affect each person differently, and problems in the social, communicative and behavioral/emotional areas can be mild to severe.
