Department of Economics

The Department of Economics equips students with the analytical tools and critical thinking skills needed to understand and address complex economic challenges in an interconnected global economy. Through a rigorous curriculum that emphasizes quantitative analysis, economic theory and real-world application, students develop a strong foundation for evaluating markets, public policy and business decision-making. Guided by accomplished faculty and enriched by research and experiential learning opportunities, students explore areas such as macroeconomics, microeconomics, international trade, financial systems and economic forecasting. With a focus on problem-solving, data-driven decision-making and global perspective, the department prepares graduates for successful careers in business, government, consulting, finance and advanced academic study.
