Biography
Dr. Mahmoudi joined the Department of Economics at the Feliciano School of Business in August 2026. Prior to joining Montclair State, she worked as a faculty member at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) for seven years, where she taught courses such as Intermediate Macroeconomics and International Economics. She also served on the Board of Directors of the National Bank of Coxsackie, where she contributed to the strategic planning and successful execution of the merger with Ballston Spa National Bank, creating a combined community bank with $1.3 billion in assets. Her research interests focus on applied macroeconomics as well as behavioral and experimental economics.
