Labor Relations
What We Do
Labor Relations ensures fair, transparent and consistent workplace standards across Montclair State University by partnering with labor unions and University leaders.
How We Do It
Montclair works with several different union organizations, each with its own separate bargaining agreement.
Our department upholds those collective bargaining agreements, resolves formal grievances and builds constructive labor-management relationships grounded in mutual respect and integrity.
For a full list of the organizations we work with, including brief descriptions of who they represent, visit our Collectively Negotiated Agreements page.
Looking for a complete breakdown of the more than 4,500 employees represented collectively bargained agreements? Visit our Employment Population Statistics page to see union representation by organization.
