The CEEL Center Consortium brings together expertise, research, training, and community collaboration to help organizations create, strengthen, and sustain impactful education and human-development programs from early childhood through professional practice.

Who We Are

The CEEL Center Consortium, established in 2025 within Montclair State University’s College for Education and Engaged Learning, provides a coordinated access point to the College’s broad educational expertise, services, and partnerships.

Working with schools, districts, community organizations, government agencies, nonprofits, and education entrepreneurs, the Consortium supports initiatives spanning early childhood, Pre-K–12 education, educator preparation, professional development, applied research, program evaluation, technology integration, family support, and community-based partnerships. Through a single collaborative structure, the Consortium can design, implement, evaluate, and strengthen education and human-development programs.

 

CEEL Center Consortium Services

The Consortium offers a broad range of services, including:

  • Applied research design, program evaluation, and impact studies for education, health, and human-service programs
  • Data collection, needs assessment, data analysis, and evidence-based reporting for program improvement
  • Grant evaluation, accountability documentation, and outcome reporting for externally funded initiatives
  • Evaluation-capacity building for schools, agencies, nonprofits, and community-based organizations
  • Strategic planning, marketing planning, and business consulting for education programs and service initiatives
  • Education entrepreneurship incubation and new education-service model development
  • Design and support for fee-for-service programs, continuing education initiatives, and scalable education partnerships
  • Digital learning, AI, media production, and educational technology training and support
  • Instructional technology integration for teaching, learning, assessment, research, and professional training
  • Curriculum design and instructional-material development for schools, districts, and education-service providers
  • Customized professional development for teachers, education leaders, counselors, service providers, and community educators
  • Teacher induction, alumni support, and early-career mentorship for new educators
  • Educator-certification support, Praxis preparation, teacher-candidate advising, and pathway guidance
  • Career readiness, internship access, clinical placements, and educator-pipeline support through CEEL student talent
  • Access to CEEL faculty expertise and current research in education, human services, learning technology, early childhood development, and educator preparation
  • Childcare, family-support programming, and early-learning services for children from infancy through preschool
  • Early-childhood classroom observation, field-trip experiences, and lab-school learning opportunities

The Consortium's Centers

ADP Center for Learning Technologies

We are a model hub for educational technology, serving faculty, staff, community educators, and students. Our space includes classrooms, labs, studios, and collaborative areas. We also offer professional development through workshops, seminars, and conferences.

Ben Samuels Children’s Center

We provide a model of excellence in inclusive early care and education. Our staff implements best practices in teaching and learning to serve children aged 12 weeks to 5 years old. We uphold a standard of excellence in inclusive early care and education.

Center for Autism and Early Childhood Mental Health (CAECMH)

We are dedicated to the well-being of children and families by providing therapy, support, and services. We provide professional development for professionals and coursework for students pursuing careers in early relational health and maternal-infant health. Our staff conducts research and offers systems-level consultation throughout New Jersey to help children thrive.

Center for Student Success and Educator Excellence (CSSEE)

We are a comprehensive resource for students at every stage of their academic career. Our staff offers advising and guidance to support academic and career development opportunities. We also provide dedicated support for first-year teachers.
