Teach for Us!

The First-Year Writing program at Montclair State University seeks adjunct faculty applicants to teach first-year writing.  Faculty will work in a large program committed to providing strong process-oriented writing instruction and support to diverse learners.  Faculty will teach first-year writing courses including College Writing I (WRIT105) and College Writing II (WRIT106) depending on interest and need.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required qualifications include: MA, MFA or equivalent in Writing, English; MA or equivalent graduate degree in any related field; record of success teaching first-year writing in a diverse, multi-ethnic environment; significant coursework and/or professional development experience in composition studies.
