      Italian MAT Student Wins Prestigious NECTFL and NOIAW Awards

      February 27, 2026 – Angela Sabetta, Montclair State University’s first student in the Master’s Program for the Teaching of Italian, was awarded the prestigious Future Language Educator Award funded by Vista Higher Education offered by the Northeast Conference for Teachers, for Languages, for Cultures at the NECTFL conference on February 27 th in New York.

      On April 10, 2026 – The Global Center on Human Trafficking in partnership with Montclair State University Athletics, hosted its Red Card to Trafficking Awareness Game at Yogi Berra Stadium, as the Montclair State Red Hawks took on Kean University.
