Students from the School of Computing have been recognized with the Best Paper – Reviewers’ Choice Award at IEMTRONICS 2026!

The paper introduces a scalable and adaptive multi-agent architecture for intrusion detection, designed to address the growing complexity of modern cyber threats. By integrating distributed detection mechanisms with a centralized coordination layer, the framework enables more resilient, real-time threat analysis and response. A key contribution is its focus on explainability, ensuring that security decisions are transparent and interpretable an increasingly critical requirement for trust and accountability in cybersecurity systems.
