Dr. Mamonov Provides Expertise on Surveillance Technology and Data Privacy

Dr. Stanislov Mamonov, Associate Professor in the Department of  Information Management and Business Analytics at the Feliciano School of Business, was recently featured in a PIX11 News report examining Edison, New Jersey’s expansion of surveillance technology, including 92 Flock cameras and the state’s first Flock drone equipped with thermal technology.

Mamonov provided insight into New Jersey’s data-retention policies, noting that license plate information collected through automated license plate readers can be retained for up to three years.
