The Chinese Musicians Association of North America presents The Sound of Harvest, a concert bringing together musicians and instruments from a variety of cultural traditions. The program features Chinese instruments such as the erhu, pipa, guzheng, and ruan, alongside Japanese taiko and shinobue, African percussion, jazz piano, lute, guitar, cello, double bass, voice, and more.
The Montclair performance will take place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. in Memorial Auditorium at Montclair State University. The event is co-sponsored by the Department of Global Cultural Studies.
