Join us for an engaging workshop with Hugo Gonzalez (Bloomfield College ’22) exploring Chicano/Hispanic community-engaged art in the United States and in our local communities.

Hugo will share his experiences designing for Stories of Newark (BCMSU), Touching Land (Border Project), Doctors Without Borders (Riografias), Mobile Print Power and Mujeres de la Tierra.

Participants will learn about the principles and practices of community-engaged art while exploring how art can build connections, amplify community voices, and tell stories. The workshop will also include hands-on collaborative art-making activities.

We hope you’ll join us for this opportunity to learn, create, and connect!
