Biography

Dr. Yeon Bai is a Professor of Nutrition in the Department of Nutrition and Food Studies at Montclair State University. Dr. Bai is a Registered Dietitian (RD) and earned PhD in Health Behavior. To examine nutrition and health behaviors, Dr. Bai employs deductive approach to identify factors associated with various dietary behaviors and execute intervention to address these factors, and eventually bring the behavior change at individual levels. For the Department, Dr. Bai served as the director of the Didactic Program in Dietetics 2015-2022 and has led the program to become a demonstration program for the future education model in Dietetics. Dr. Bai’s scholarly work has been disseminated through various venues including articles in peer-reviewed journals, poster/oral presentations in regional and international conferences.
