Biography

Dr. Thomas Grace is an adjunct faculty member in the College of Education and Engaged Learning. He is "semi-retired" from a career as an administrator at several institutions, most extensively as the Director of the Office of Community Standards and Compliance in the Division of Student Affairs at New York University where he supervised a staff that was responsible for the Student Conduct function at the main NYU campus and at the 12 global campus sites. Courses taught by Dr. Grace at Montclair State University include: Theories of College Student Development; Higher Education Law and Compliance; Practicum; Capstone; Mental Health Challenges in Higher Education; The Community College; Student Services Administration in Higher Education (Foundations); Organizational Theory (Systems Analysis); Consulting in Higher Education; Crisis Management in Higher Education; Program Planning in Educational Settings; Theories of Counseling and Psychotherapy; Professional and Ethical Issues in the Counseling Profession; Counseling Internship-1; Counseling Internship-2; Group Dynamics; Counseling Issues Across the Lifespan; and Independent Study in Counseling.
