Biography
Shapel M. LaBorde brings over 10 years of experience in K-12 educational settings and curriculum design specifically in English as a New or Additional Language (ENL) to her role at Montclair State University. She teaches courses in Educational Foundations, focusing on inclusive pedagogical strategies, equity in education, and reflective teaching practice. Passionate about experiential learning, Professor LaBorde integrates real-world case studies and collaborative projects into her coursework to prepare future educators for diverse classroom environments.
